for those who don't know, -- well, you probably won't care. and for those who do care, well, you probably already know. but for that minority somewhere in between: the team is a reference to Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels. (Granny Weatherwax will often hold a card saying "I Aten't Dead" when she's Borrowing...) the naming scheme may become more relaxed, depending on the survival rate of the players, but at inception the golems are named after golems. the wights are named after Death and his family (which may extend to other anthropomorphic personifications), who most closely possess some traits i personally associate with wights. the zombies are perhaps inappropriately named after the Nac Mac Feegle, who in fact believe that they -ARE- dead, and are currently celebrating in their afterlife, not to mention that they're fast, agile, virtually indestructible... oh, and ~6 inches tall. i know that there are true zombies in the novels, but i didn't feel i could come up with enough names to remain consistent. :P -those- will likely wind up among the ranks of ghouls. the werewolf connection should be obvious. ;)
