The Northern Nasty Brawlers consist of some of the most bloodthirsty and violent individuals from the cold land of Norsca. And that is saying something! Tired of simply milling around their village hunting for food and wrestling polar bears, the Nasty Brawlers packed up their gear and headed for the Old World to seek their fortune on the fields of Blood Bowl (Alongside the rest of their tribe). Upon arriving at Middenhiem, it was not long till the Norse managed to find a BB league with which to enter themselves, The Middenhiem Open, but things would quite naturally, not be so easy. After the inevitably violent encounter and mix up with a goblin known as Wuarzahg and his Goonz, the Northern Brawlers initial position in the Middenhiem Open was taken from them, not to mention enduring quite the bashing. Battered, bruised and bloody, the Norscans were forced to surrender their slot in the league and had to retire from Middenhiem altogether due to the trouble they were causing amongst the citizentry that night. Things were looking grim for the team. It was thanks to their inspiring Cheiftain, Ullric, that the Norse persevered in their quest to spread chaos on the pitch, and thanks to recruiting a new Head Coach, the Northern Nasties soon found themselves in the Open League of Blood Bowl. It was not long until the Norscans left their mark amongst the raging fans of the Old World (And boot marks). They quickly forged a fierce reputation for themselves due to their reckless and gung-ho approach to the opposition, the Nasty Brawlers show no signs in stopping in their ceaseless attempts to show those on the BB pitch just who is boss. Also similarly to other Norscan teams, the only way to leave the Nasty Brawlers (The only exceptions being Iarl and Thorgrim) is to face a violent and painful death on the field of battle. And they would not have it any other way!
