The Rowdy Ruff Gits are a recently emerged team of Gobbos who's incompetance is only equal to their stern belief in their ability as players. Like most Goblin teams the Gits are well known for the numerous disasters which befalls them during matches or their atrocious luck, particularly once where the Dwarf Hammerers fielded a cannon, four death rollers, and six chainsaw wielding maniacs. Needless to say, the team was left in tatters, but surprisingly managed to end in victory due to one lucky goblin miraculously picking up the ball, keeping it out of harms way (Pictured left: Snufgob Bigfeet)and running full pelt into the end zone. Having now returned to the fields of Blood Bowl after a decade long hiatus, the Rowdy Ruff Gits have still yet to recover from their devestating losses. Not enough cash or guts to recruit any trolls to the team as well the stocks in the weapon stores empty, the Rowdy Ruff Gits resort now to the same methods they did upon their initial creation,fourteen to fifteen Gobbo linemen, line up on the pitch and (sticking appropriately to their inspiration the Lowdown Rats) charge head first towards the enemy and hit everything and anything which is not on your team. The long term success of this strategy has yet to be seen. While the team has little going for it there are two qualities which help the little fellows not to be completely trounced into the ground (Not that this still does not happen!). The Rowdy Ruff Gits have their own cheerleading squad consisting of two trolls, three squigs and a goblin with a bagpipe and have gained the reputation of their appallingly bad and offensive chants and yet surprisingly the fans still love them! The team is said to also have several contacts within the higher areas of the sport and it has been known for the likes of Nobbla Blackwart to be seen scrapping alongside some of his old pals. |
