It started in the mid 80's during the height of the rock & wrestling era featuring Hulk Hogan in his prime along with such legends as the MAcho Man Randy Savage, Ted DiBiase and the Ultimate Warrior. My intrest waned through the 90's, mainly due to travelling and doing what most guys in their 20's do best, namely getting drunk and pulling girls! In the early 2000's I once again watched wrestling regularly, right up to around 2005, when one of my favourite wrestlers, Eddy Guererro sadly died. Although I watched WWE and TNA programming on occassion I didn't follow it regularly up until recently, I missed the 'fun' in wrestling. That has changed with the addition of not only great young wrestlers in both WWE and TNA, but characters like Zack Ryder, whose online blog shows are hilarious! Why the WWE are still refusing to push this wrestler is beyond me!
