Current Players Past Players 0-5 6-15 16-30 31-50 51-75 76-175 176+ HISTORY OF THE SSS 2000- Narlgoth, ruling Warlord of Clan Narlgar, is given clearence by Clan Rigens and the Council of 13 to create a new Blood Bowl team. The team is registered simply as "Clan Narlgar", and sets up it's base under the town of Scarborough, a rainy moor town within travelling distance of both Mordheim and The Moot. In their first few games they show no particular talent, but still attract plenty of blood thirsty fans eager to see the Clan tearing apart the many local Halfling teams. 2001- With the disappearence of several Halfling Teams (including the long standing team "The Current Buns") from Scarborough and the surrounding areas, the NAF turns its' eyes suspiciously towards Clan Narlgar. Rumours run rampant that the team was created as a front for capturing and enslaving Halflings for mining Warpstone from underneath Mordheim. In a press interview Narlgoth is famously recorded as saying "We just run a Blood Bowl team, there's nothing remotely sinister going on here, and I resent the statement that we have been capturing Halflings and enslaving or eating them! I love Halflings, they have such good taste.. I mean in cooking, when they are cooking... Er, I'm sorry! But I really must be going! I have some important errands!". 2002- After side stepping several accusations Narlgoth starts a new promotional campaign for the team, changing it's name to "Scarborian Sewer Skulkers" and paying for a rough stadium to be built on the hometown's outskirts known as "The Fen". The Fen attracts several Human, Wood Elf, Halfling and Orc teams, and Narlgoth has to improve the SSS roster by adding several more players -including a Rat Ogre by the name of Darigazz- to meet the new wave of opponents. The Halfling team "Pike's Pillagers" is rumoured to have put aside their pies and cakes and sworn blood vengeance against the SSS for their enslaved brethern. They hire 3 Treemen, including Legendary Star Deeproot Strongbranch. The ensuing match is a bloodbath, and as the final whistle blows only a single linesrat remains on pitch, running desperately to keep out of reach of the Pillagers and their Treemen! The surviving Linesrat (No.13) is nicknamed "Lucky" and his fur mutates white to signify him as favourite of the Horned Rat. 2003- The SSS returns to the game after 9 months of recovery from the Pillager's fury. Gutter Runner Sladdor catchs one of Clan Pestilen's diseases and becomes known as "Cholera" to the fans. Unable to breath comfortably within 6 paces of him, Cholera goes on to upset several opposing Star Players, including famous "Floating Goats" War Dancer Harriotte, who attempts to blitz him to stop the winning touchdown of the Scarborough Open, but instead gags, trips up and spends the next 3 hours projectile vomiting. The Rat Ogre Darigazz has several training problems, the worst of which is his complete refusal to listen to any commands, either from team mates or the coaches. However, his fits of explosive rage and the way he literally tears opposing players to pieces makes him a fan favorite! The SSS all but destroy "The Striking Leaves", a local Wood Elf team. The Leaves manage to win 4-3, but the SSS kill 10 of the Leaves' players, leaving the team unable to continue and it's remaining players disband. The NAF later rules that Journeymen may be used to keep teams topped up until players can be replaced, but the decision is too late for the Leaves! In the fall the SSS begin a bitter rivalry with touring Lizardman Team "The Komodo Dragons". The two teams come to bitter blows on the field, finishing with a violent beating for the SSS in which both Storm Vermin Veteran Slagar and Fan Favourite Lucky are killed. In their final match against the Dragons before they return back to Lustria, the SSS defy the odds, injure two Saurus Warriors and finish with a 2-1 win having not taken a single injury! 2004- After a 4 year career the SSS finally hangs up their armour. Several of the team's players are entered into the local Hall of Fame, including Rat Ogre Darigazz, who is now a Pro Super Star and takes the top spots in both the Hall of Fame's Top 5 Star Players of All Time and Top 5 Most Violent Players of All Time. 2012- The town of Scarborough erupts in a Skaven invasion as the loyal fans of the SSS arrive in a wave of excited chittering. After 8 long years the SSS is back and starting over, taking a place in the FUMBBL rankings. Head Coach Narlgoth is still heading the team, and promises that the SSS will relive their glories once again! Present- The SSS have had a tough return, having been beaten in well over half of the games they've played and suffering great losses at the hands of the many brawly teams that have muscled their way into the game. Narlgoth is said to have gone back to the drawing board with the team's development and strategies, in hopes of changing the team's success for the better. He has recently hired in several Clan Eshin coaches with the aim of teaching Linerats advanced combat techniques. It's also rumoured that new Gutter Runner Deablo II is been trained by an Eshin Assassin. Only time will tell whether or not the new strategies will work... Knocked out in the 1st qualifier for the GLT VIII. After the match Narlgoth said "I made a few mistakes, but a lucky spree for the opponent really sealed any chances we had of winning! Maybe we'll try again next year!".
