After the dastardly invasion of the depths of Shadowforge City and the unfortunate death of Emperor Thaurissan and his lovely wife to be, Princess Moira Bronzebeard, there has been outrage. The dwarves have been lost without the guidance of their esteemed leader. To settle their tempers many of the dwarves began infighting. With those who believed the Emperor to have become a spirit (yes, you heard that right!) squabling with those who believed him dead and buried. Needless to say after much head smashing and nose pinching it was decided that there would be a fight to the deaths in the gladitorial arenas to see who would be the overall champion and direct the beliefs of the people. However once the challenge was arranged the two sides stood aimlessly facing one another, not wanting anymore blood shed and were about to leave when the crowd began launching objects at them. It was at this point that Roccor picked up one of the larger, smoother, and less deadly objects and threw it to Verek who proceeded to launch himself full pace across the arena. And so the blood bowl sport we all know and love was brought to the mountains... |
