Sometimes Kaos incursionz just don't go right. I mean, what with all the planning, packing, training... It's not easy moving millions of orcs, goblins, ogres, trolls etc across a continent to bring death and destruction to all in their path. You should try it! Sheesh! Anyway, the wonn undred n 9 t f regiment was ready. So ready in fact, they left for battle early. And turned up at the walls of Kislev vastly outnumbered by a load of Yoomans an Nelves in poncy shiny armour. The Wonn undred n 9 t f was well up for it though. Till that poncy wizard in his purple robes wiggled his fingers and shouted a lot. Then everything went dark. And sleepy. The Wonn undred n 9 t f woke up all together in a large dungeon. No problemz. Most of them grew up in a dungeon. Then the wizard in purple came to see them. "You have a choice, foul beasts. Die in roasting hellfire by my spellcraft, or die on the Bloodbowl field playing for my new team. It's a hobby of mine you see." Most of the smart Wonn Undred n 9 t f chose the death by burning. Some even enjoyed it, for a while. The stupid wonns, those that were left, were taken to nuther place and trained. "Pick the ball up. Run to the other end of the field. When you get to the edge of the grass, stop. If someone on the other side, No, the OTHER side... <sigh> If someone NOT with green skin and purple shirt comes near you, kill them. If they have a black and white shirt, kill them too, but make sure no one sees you killing them. If you are too lazy to run with the ball, throw it to someone on your team. Yes, like that. Wait, thats not a ball... MEDIC!" And so it came to pass that Kislev had it's own Bloodbowl team. They were rough, untried, unskilled and most likely hopeless, but everyone likes an underdog.... Even if the dog smells, has fleas, burps, farts, eats it's own bogies, scratches it's ass and sniffs it's fingers, goes to the toilet when..... You get the idea. |
