[R] Elven Union
Winners of XFL IX! This team was created on June 12th 2013 to enter the Pro XFL on June 19th 2013. Although I don't care much for pro elves per se (Nerves of Steel is your schtick? Really?), I do like elfballing in general. Since a pro XFL meant lots of elfballing, I decided it would be nice to participate. However, I didn't have a team to use. Not feeling too much like just entering a rookie team, I figured I'd pose myself a challenge: speedbuild a competitive pro elf team in just one week. Hence, the 'One Week Wonders' were born. The result: after 20 games in 6 days (ugh; won't do that again in a hurry), the team had a TV of 1820k (while missing its 90k thrower), featuring 2 mighty blow blocklers (one with a 9447 statline). In their first XFL game, the team did pretty well, but then they lost the second, a crazy game with disappointing bash, a fizzing lightning bolt, a riot causing overtime and double skulls costing overtime. The team then got shelved until their second Pro XFL in 2015, which they won, mostly by decimating many opponent teams along the way. |
