| Hungry for a new challenge cousins Fess and Faethor decided to enter the prestigious Old Skool Tag Team Tournament and test their metal against the squishy and the bashy who reside there. Belonging to the blood line Blood Dragons they are well skilled in combat and hope to prove their worth on the hallowed turf of the blood bowl arena they had purpose built to house the newly formed Iniquitous Inhumans the team they intend to lead all the way to glorious victory if they can control their desire to eat their team mates long enough to score a touchdown or two. The Story so far: Week 1 - See's the Inhumans prepare for their first game you could taste the tension in the stadium as the cousins Fess and Faethor took to the pitch to test their steel against the wildly unpredictable Hungry Gobbos with their array of weapons and their hunger to damage their opponents they are a team not to be underestimated. Despite a solid start including gaining an early numbers advantage a poorly executed push for the end-zone resulted in the slippery bouncy returning the length of the pitch to give the Gobbos a first half lead. However this early lead seemed to lead to a surge of adrenaline which caused a Troll to grab the ball catcher and fling him into enemy territory allowing DeThanatos to run in the equaliser which is the way the game would finish. All in all a fair result for what was an appropriate season opener with deaths, injuries, turnovers and flying Goblins this game had all thee ingredients required to keep both sets of fans happy at least until the next match where each team will look to build on this steady start. |
