The first games were quite regular, whit the team trying to get some skill and the Assassin scoring a good number of touch downs. In little time he managed to become a blodger/tackler, and everything looked fine.

In a game against a Gnoblar team called Eure Muedda Hellpaw was killed by an Ogre Maneater. That was the beginning of what the Munchers called "The Great Struggle". With no money to buy another Assassin they play a game against some Cheaters, and Ghost Rat was killed as well. After the game they managed to buy another Assassin but found themselves with only one Night Runner, so the struggle continues.

Squeakshot Plaguewind played a lot of games with the Munchers. Recently he declared:
"I really like these guys. The way they fight to stay alive is quite touching, and reminds me of how beautiful and valuable life is. They are obviously good at nothing, but I will help them every time I can. I apologize for some fumbles, and I promise that they'll be good someday. Together we'll go far. Keep up, Munchers!"
