| On the Western edge of the Badlands, where the Dragonback Mountains touch the Black Gulf, lies the penal labour camp of Wormwood. Overseen by the brutal hand of Ogre Guv'nor Goli Otok Katorga, a mix of the most unfortunate, cowardly, deranged, and occasionally most dangerous Orcs slave in the iron mines at the mountain base. Faced with a burgeoning prison population and finding that the casual cruelties and inflicted humiliations of everyday prison life were not enough to satisfy his whims, Katorga devised a scheme to make life more amusing still. A Blood Bowl team was formed, and a simple offer was made - any prisoner could earn his freedom if he achieved Legendhood on the field. As the desperate prisoners lined in their droves for their chance at freedom, an evil smile spread over the face of Goli Otok Katorga. "No zogger gets out of 'ere alive". |
