In the opening fixture expectation was high and the players itching to get off to a fast start. Bobby Charlton and David Beckham did not disappoint with two crushing tackles in the opening stages. The team failed to capitalise though as things transpired against them and in a scrappy and poor game they lost 1-0. It could have gone either way as the ref gave them some Fergie time and deserved to be a draw. Eric Cantona was killed in the first moments of the game but our boys avenged him beautifully with 3 kills. David Beckham scored 2 TD's as we came from behind twice to draw. An unlikely 2nd TD came after a crazy move by ballo, the murderer of Cantona knocked the ball loose midway through the second half. In the return fixture it started slowly, midway through the first half though Ferguson and George Best handed out some crunching tackles. 1-0 down at half time it was Beckham again the hero getting the game tying score. 1-1 One of the most boring games ever played, the elves were too scared to get involved. They scored in the first half, Utd equalised with Beckham in the second. No casualties. Yawn. 1-1 After winning the toss our opening drive broke down just before the score. Bobby Charlton was obviously annoyed as he killed a man on the stroke of half time. The defence performed well and were close for a take away TD but it wasnt to be and we lost 1-0. The next game saw the first half topped and tailed by vicious tackles, Charlton killed a second man in as many games and Robson maimed one just on half time. 1-0 all to play for. We fired back with a classic Beckham score before beginning the final drive. We made tactical errors and unluckily lost in the final moments. 2-1 loss. Ronaldo got himself a casualty as Beckham scored again, a win was close but poor ball protection meant we lost 2-1. We were close though. Another pounding as Beckham fumbled the ball twice on the way to 3-0 loss. Ronaldo and Giggs once again scoring impressive casualties. A scrappy 1-1 draw saw a lot of luck in two last minute goals in both halves. Beckham scored as defensive fragility left the team short of players most of the game. Another misfiring game but a Ryan Giggs hattrick of cas saw the fans leave happy enough but results are needed soon. 1-0 loss. After a really good all round performance we were robbed with a single turn score of incredible good fortune. George Best earlier scored his first. 1-1 A perfectly executed gameplan resulting in a 2-0 win with scores from Beckham and Best. Another good game with an unlikely equaliser in the first half from Gary Neville. With a win beckoning we snatched at the chance under time pressure and missed. 1-1 final score. Matched up against a strong team we showed massive resilience to dominate a tough game and win by a single Beckham TD. 1-0 Shit game, bad dice 2-0 loss not as bad, poor dice, 2-0 loss Local derby game, Ferguson stepped up knocking people out left right and centre, 1-0 win but very comfortable win. In a really well set up game Ronaldo failed in the final stages to win the game after beckham offloaded to him to put him through. The team lost their cutting edge with no injuries delved out but a lot of robust tackling. 1-1 draw. Alex Ferguson fought hard and almost killed a man but for some master physio work. The luck wasnt in though despite that man quivering in his boots for the rest of the game, the other 11 blitzed us. 2-0 In an action packed game we dominated the opponents early but some poor tactical play allowed them to grab an equaliser in the first, we hit back but couldnt grab the late winner. 2-2 Beckham and Ferguson starring. Ferguson, Ronaldo and Giggs destroyed the heart of the opponents dominating the line. Beckham nearly scored 4 TD's but handles poorly before the final whistle. 3-0 win. Beckham scored as we grinded out a 1-1 draw against a highly fast and skilful team. Ronaldo and Ferguson assist Beckham as we ground another 1-1 draw. Some awful conditions and very tough opposition our hearts were not in it and it showed, only 2 cas and a 3-0 loss. In an outstandingly entertaining game, everyone contributed, 3-3 final score and a giggs pass to Best tied it up. Whatever we did it didnt stick, we fought valiantly but lost 2-0. Nicky Butt was killed right in the middle of the park.
