Head Coach: The Great Gobbo Home Stadium: Campo de futbol de Vallecas, capacity 14,208 Surface: Rock Country: Estalia Home Town: Just outside Magritta Nickname: 'The Red Slashes' Gobbo Vallecano were originally a small tribe of goblin bandits who used to ambush merchants on their way into and out of the city of Magritta. Unfortunately trade in the area declined and so the goblins got bored between raids and started playing Blood Bowl to pass the time. Soon they had developed enough skills that they gave up the life of the bandit and moved into one of the poorest areas of Magritta, where they established themselves as one of the most fanatical set of fans in the world, despite the presence of two major Blood Bowl teams already being based in the city. They retain a fierce anti-authoritarian streak, but also look out for other poor goblins in the city as they have always robbed from the rich (i.e everybody else) and given to the poor (as long as they run taverns, strip clubs etc etc). |
