A group of Dark Elves formerly from Naggaroth, extensive trade brought them into contact with Chaos Dwarf merchants. While most Dark Elves were there to trade for slaves, these elves had a peculiar interest in some of the more... mechanical offerings. Purchasing several dozen dwarven flying machines, these intrepid elves carried out many, many air raids against the other races before growing bored.

So, they packed up the entirety of their clan in as many air machines as possible, and partook a great migration to the mountains separating Bretonnia from Reikland. There, they built a colossal stadium out of the now decommissioned machines, and invite all comers to face them in brutal combat once again, only this time with the rules of Blood Bowl.

Fans of the Barons especially love the complex and intricate airshows that happen before matches, and it's said many come solely for them instead of the sport itself! Unfortunately, the airshows are no longer allowed at halftime after the tragic death of an entire Halfling team during a stunt gone awry.
