As one of the original founders of the Masquerade, Mortimer often finds himself at odds with the other members about the direction they should take. As a Blitzer well should, Mortimer believes that sometimes the opponents should find themselves... Beyond the Beef.

"You disgust me. How dare you say such a filthy thing in my establishment? I ought to have you arrested. You'll kindly mind your tongue, or we shan't speak any further."

A brilliant Catcher and the first Chairperson of the Masquerade, Marjorie hides her original calling as a Blitzer, despite packing the strongest blows on the team. She believes that the Masquerade should move away from such uncouth behaviour, yet when the need strikes, she is the first to lay waste to the opposition.

"Those are all members of the Masquerade. Our founder, Marjorie, gave us all a dress code. There's only one rule to it. In her words, we must dress in such a way that no one can be said to have dressed better than us."

As fellow Catcher, Chauncey defends Marjorie's beliefs and stance on the Masquerade's approach to games. His fearlessness extends to the pitch, fearlessly braving opposing players in order to catch an impossible throw.

"I invented edible food."

Once used for butchering and cutting meat, Philippe's chef arms have developed into extremely powerful throwing tools, and his incredible accuracy results in every throw landing with pinpoint precision.
