In 2500 a great plague swept through the villagers on the small island of Enlanox. Whole families were wiped out and hundreds died. The cities of the old world watched on and just let it happen, they had bigger problems after all the the outbreak was contained to an island. However, many years later an trade ship crashed on the island and what they found was beyond belief... It appears as though the plague doesn't cause death in all the subjects exposed. Some of the infected were still 'alive'. It seems the survivors had become carriers of the infection and were now not only rotten in body but also in mind. The disease caused them to attack others to attempt to spread the infection whilst also causing them to run towards anything coloured red! This strange behaviour was noted by one of the traders, a strange man who had recently retired as a BloodBowl coach and was attempting to make an honest living as a crewmember. As you should know, no-one ever retires from BloodBowl. The coach tricked them on a ship and sent them out onto the pitch. Unfortunately their fragile nature and fearless aggression caused them to get badly injured by other teams and the plague team was forced to quickly retire.
