From legend we have heard the tale of Odin one-eye, the Norse god whose lust for knowledge and wisdom was so great that he plucked out his own eye at the well of Mimir as sacrifice for a single drink. That single drink filled him with the intelligence that he so greatly desired, but very few know what knowledge he actually sought for. Odin learned that day, how to create the perfect Blood Bowl team. With this knowledge, he scoured the nine worlds of Yggdrasil, the world-tree, and brought forth the greatest of the Norse.

From the frozen waste lands of Niflheim, he took Einar, the Yeti. This snow troll's strength was legendary even among his own kind, though his brains wouldn't fill a thimble.


On Jotunheim, world of the giants, he called Bjorn and Bjarke, Ulfwerner princes of great renoun.



From the tribes of the gods he took one beserker warrior each in order to keep the peace. From Asgard came Asger, and Sigurd from Vanaheim.


Halvar was chosen from the world called Alfheim, a people known to be agile and swift.





Ugh was raised from the world of the dead called Hel, for his arm was strong from casting the souls down into its depths.




Jerrik he summoned from the fire-world, Muspelheim. His temper was renoun, even Bob the Ogre thinks twice before tackling Jerrik.





Hjalmar, though short, he took from Svartalfheim for his solid heart.




And last he took Yorick, Birgir, Geir and Gunborg from the human world, Midgard, mostly because he needed to use someone on the front line as fodder.


And with his blessing, these ornery vikings took to the field to win for him victory and honor. And they were called,
