Welcome to the Kemperbad Smashers!

First off, lets introduce our little Freistadt. Our history is rich, and we are famous. Nobles of both Reikland, Stirland and Talabecland have claimed us in the past, but we are firmly in the hands of the emporer now.
Our unique location on the eastern bank of the River Reik and our Freistadt status means we have wealth, and this wealth needs to be used.



When young Hartwin Faehlmann approched the Council of Thirteen and requested funds for a Blood Bowl Pitch, they replied in the only way they could..

"What is this blood bowl you speak of?"

And while Hartwin explained, the Council was amazed at his passion for this, to them, new sport. Sons of the Council merchants were also present, and they saw a future that their dads could not. So while none of the elders wanted to give financial support to Hartwin, one son, Volker, granted him a little piece of land to build his pitch on.

Months passed, and the youth of the land migrated towards this new pitch. While Hartwin built stands for thousands (always a optimist!), the young lads fooled around with the ball.

Eventually, the stands were finished, the pitch was ready, the dug out was made, locker rooms build and anything else Hartwin could think of.

Finally realizing that he might actually need players to go with his pitch, he grapped the guys who had been playing around on the pitch while he built, thinking that they might have gotten some rudementry skills out of their fooling around.

Now all they needed was a name, and while the lads discussed awesome names, Hartwin revealed what he had written in one of the endzones: Kemperbad Smashers And with that, it was decided, a brilliant name for a brilliant team with a brilliant future!
