Nippon Kempo is a fighting system based techniques such as strikes (punches and kicks), chokes, throws, reverse holds and ground combat. Nippon Kempo is a FULL FORCE SYSTEM. Practitioners of Nippon Kempo use protective gear called BOGU. Kempo is aimed at the development of the mind and body, a strong character and self confidence. Through the study of self defense techniques, the student of Nippon Kempo comes to appreciate and understand the mental and physical aspects of the art and the harmonious relationship between them.
