The Pirates were the only expansion team with 7 players but injuries prevented any of the seven from playing a full season. They played tough all year losing by more than 1 score only twice. But a serious injury count of 6 to 1 was to much to overcome.The Pirates only move will be an import for season#3.
Season#3 5-4-1 16pts 8th place out of 20
Orcacoke loss its last two to end its title dreams. The Pirates had the leads leading rusher and fouler. They easily led the league in casualties plus added 5 more via the foul. The Plan for next year is get a 3rd star and tie some of their losses.
Season#4 Eastern Conference 6-2-1 19 pts 5th pace out of 18 overall 6-3-1 19 pts The Pirates continue to improve. The George Fetherston experiment continues without much success.The slogan continues to be Calico Jack Rackham and 4 killers.
Season#5 Overall 7-1-2 23 pts Played in Southern/Dixie Divisions and Premier Division of WC The Pirates had a great season winning. They started slow tying 2 of their 1st three before winning the Dixie Division on the way to 6 straight victories before losing to Humansville in the Runner-Up game of the WC Premier Division. Things look good for the year.
