Once, the Gods of Chaos turned their corrupting gaze towards the Halflings, trying to get those little ones to follow them. They picked one of the little fellows, well respected amongst his own folk, and tried to turn him to be the Apostle of Chaos.

Khorne filled his mind with images of war, martial prowess and physical might.
"Nay", said the little one. "Waging war makes you miss the meals".

Then in stepped Tzeentch, the changer of the ways, giving promise of mental power and magical abilities.
"Nay," said the halfling. "You just can't cook food with magic, can you?"

Nurgle came, promising immunity from disease and pain.
"Heck, no" said the halfling. "I'm losing my appetite looking all that filth".

Slaanesh started to whisper and seduce, filling the little fellow's mind with pictures of unbelievable pleasures.
"Nay" said the halfling. "You just can't do that kind of things with full stomach".

So, the great Gods of Chaos turned away, giving up in the face of unbending resolution ot the halflings. Only one of the minor Gods, a mere shadow compared to the Great Four, named Coloesterol stayed behind.
"I promise you nine meals a day if you follow me", God proposed.
"Nine meals? Make it eleven, and promise they won't be low-fat diet-food, and we'll follow".
"So mote it be".

And so, the little halflings we're corrupted. Yelling "Food for the Food God", "Meat for the Plate Throne", "Butter and Pies for our god Coloesterol" and so on, they started their march towards the Chaos Wastes.</div>
