The Midenlan Manglz started out as a bunch of wily Ogres who liked to travel around, raid taverns, get drunk and get into fights. One day, they heard about a great Combat tournament which involved fighting and getting lots of gold. Unknown to the Ogres, this was in fact a Blood Bowl league. After questioning one of the locals who volunteered to guide them there, the Ogres headed straight for the TG FUMBBL league, travelling through the mountains On their way to the TG FUMBBL League, they encountered the human team the Middenland Mangles, who were also on their way to the league. An argument broke out and it was set out that a quick Blood Bowl match would decide who got to enter the tournament. Despite winning, the Middenland Mangles human team were left with barely enough for a team, the players being either killed or horribly injured. The Head Coach, Karl Dagan, managed to negotiate with the Ogres and very quickly had himself a replacement team ready to enter to the TG league, with their guide now playing the roll of assistant coach. --------------- Despite what could only be called a confoundingly messy start to the season, the Middenlan Manglz managed to not only make it to the play-offs but also the grand finals! Although they did not win the league, they did manage to achieve the second place trophy. Head Coach Dagan was nothing short of exasperated, his face frozen in an expression of profound disbelief as the team and himself held the trophy for a winning photo on cabalvision. The post league celebration was something most notorious even by Blood Bowl Standards. The Ogres, Gnoblars and Dagan himself, bankrupt the local taverns, villages and farms of any form of food, beer and livestock as the team gorged itself on what was a seemingly endless celebration feast. The team was last seen heading towards the Moot to participate in the Thimble Cup, although if they will find their way there in due time is to be seen. The Midenlan Manglz obtained the Stunty award for the /tg/ League Season XVI  /tg/ League Season XVI - Came 2nd in the /tg/ league season XVI play-offs.  |
