Box Trophy 5 We don't really know what we're doing, but we have AV9, so how bad could it go? Eat fist, elf scum. Game 1: BBT5 opener, and we draw goblins, getting a BH against one on our first block. We roll doubles for Dodge on the runner afterwards. I feel like Malmir! Idiot.. I forgot to enroll the team in the tourney. Game 1-B: After joining, we get a 2-0 win over some dark elves whose coach said he had been drinking. We believe him. Game 2: Nobody told a new coach with new elves that breaking AV9 was suppose to be hard. Took us a while to snap out of it and punch back. Game 3: Some Spanish whiner thought he deserved a win instead of a draw because my dice were too lucky. Not fun to read his rant about how awesome he was. Game 4: Two bad GFI fails I didn't really need to make allowed the slann to lead at the half. I had a draw, risked going for a win, and lost. Mostly my fault. Game 5: We face Malmir's new Underworld team, and we get the coin toss, and a BLITZ, and all the luck I have always wanted against a legend. Game 6: A draw vs. darkies. Out of re-rolls, he 1d POWs my blodge carrier with a Loner. Table flip. My offense kind of sucks. Game 7: Draw vs. block-less Nurgle. My offense DOES suck. Both teams luck into a score, but their awesome POWs stop any chance I had to win. Game 8: Stupid dwarves can't counter-score on the lizards in the first. After some removal, we risk trying for 2 TD in the 2nd, and it finally pays off. Game 9: Slayer's humans have a horrible 1st half, and miss one key dodge, to ruin their 2nd half. Game 10: After a game with decent dice, I screw up a win by giving igino's 8 noresemen 3 turns to score. He gets great dice then, and they do. Draw. My bad. Game 11: Loss vs. decent necro. I'm mad at myself after this one, and I'm not sure why. Ass offense? Game 12: We finally beat somebody up. Despite a lack of pro-elves to stop us, my ass-hats still need a GFI re-roll to score on Turn 8. Game 13: Well coached skaven. We almost stopped them, but didn't. They did not stop us. GG. Game 14: Just two ork re-rolls, and that bites them in both halves. 1-0 win. Game 15: A slow 2-1 grind against '2 re-roll woodies' who liked to waste re-rolls. Final Win % - 70% |
