Corpse Run Nightmares
Vorag the Ghoul King remain an inspiration to the Strigoi. They still dream of rebuilding their great Vampire empire, and they have learnt much from the mistakes of Vorag. They also dream of taking revenge on their brethren for their centuries of debasement and the betrayal that caused it all. The other bloodlines’ folly is that they think the Strigoi are a spent force because they are all hiding or in slumber. But in the shadows, ambition burns all the brighter, and in slumber comes renewed strength. With their guards down, the other bloodlines will have no defence when the Strigoi rise again — and rise again they most surely will... starting with Bloodbowl.

In their Year 7-9 Business Plan, Nightmare Management have the following milestones:
Year 7: Build Strenght
Year 8: Challenge the other bloodlines in rule over Sylvania
Year 9: Rule Sylvania and be a powerful factor in CIBBL

Year 10+: Hmm, seems Sylvania is deserted. New plan is to be most played Strigoi team, and climb the ranks.

Nightmares are the third Strigoi team to play in CIBBL. Strigos Elită played through Seasons 1 to 4 with Year 2 Bronze division qualification as highlight.
Mourkain Kings took their place end of Year 4, but only temporary. By Winter Year 5 Strigos Elită returned, to dissapear and return again.

In 64 skill rolls they've managed four doubles and two (none useful) stat increases!

Manuel Celise was the most useless zombie in team history: Took 45 games to collect any star player points, and then had the tenacity to die shortly after!

CIBBL - Y7, Autumn - The Pit. It starts here. (4/2/1) 2nd. 190 prestige 0 achievement.
The strenght of the Strigoi, combined with the speed and grace of the ghouls and the zombies as ideal punching bags proves a powerful combination as the team starts their career in Cibbl.
By no means a smooth ride, and the numbers lie a bit, as the games often are close and luck is on the Nightmares side.
In game 6 their lucks runs out. Driven into a frenzy by a halfling master chef, the team falls upon themselves, leaving a ghoul and a strigoi dead, and receiving their first defeat.



CIBBL - Y8, Winter - Friendlies (Low). Taking on anyone! (3/1/1)
Realizing they are far from fit to be thrown to the lions of the Sylvania Regional, the Nightmares desperately takes on anyone to build strenght. First game vs Trolls is a win, but another Strigoi meets his untimely end.
Then they get Khorned badly and then joke around with some forst flings.

CIBBL - Y8, Spring - Sylvania. Spring has come too soon. (2/0/3) 4th. 70 prestige + 10 achivement
The unexpected loss of Strigoi over the Autumn and Winter have left the Nightmares completely unprepared for the might of the other bloodlines. It starts with a big loss to Von Carstein, a win over Lamian and then a close loss to Vampire. Still some way, but not a hopeless first season at all.
Team captain Caleb Sandoval get's recognized as the best blocker of the season with his impressive 6 casualties in 5 games.

CIBBL - Y8, Summer - CLS: MOD (2/1/2) 4th. 80 prestige + 30 achivement
Looks like a friendly bunch - I spot a Bloodthirster and several Sons of Stromfel - all one big, very teethy smile.
Bloodthirster is all cuddly after first cas, but the sharks is another story..

CIBBL - Y8, Autumn - Wood Division (5/2/0) Winners. 220 prestige + 30 achievement.
Coming in with a mid-size TV -looks exciting with many teams we've never played before. Lords of the Wolffather is not one of them, and we settle an old grudge in a cas frenzy.



CIBBL - Y9, Winter - Friendlies (Mid-Low). Now it is time to shine. (2/0/1).
Unprepared, straight from the beach, Nightmares are ripped apart by forest goblins in their first friendly. And then almost pitch-cleared by some Knights.

CIBBL - Y9, Spring - Haunted Hills (0/3/1) 4th. 40 Prestige(and -10 Achiev.)
The disappointment of a canceled Sylvania Regional is obvious, and team underperforms.

CIBBL - Y9, Summer - Bloodflame's Battle (4/1/1) 2nd 160 prestige
Teaming up with old rivals, Blood Naga Venomous Ophidians, they showed the way for Craven Hugshots Hotshots, taking 1st and 2nd place.

CIBBL - Y9, Autumn - Copper Division (3/1/3) 3rd 120+20 prestige.
Once again we may be boxing above our weight. Get's absolutely trashed in first game. As we lose a second time out of three to dorfs, we get a new rival.


CIBBL - Y10, Spring - Albion & Norsca + Sylvania (0/2/2)
New Regional every Spring. Vampires are a fickle bunch. As soon as mastering Sylvania became the team goal, it never happended again. Some will say it is due to Animal Savagery vamps are unpopular now, but if we can manage claw lashes, so can everyone. Game one is a close loss to Norse dorfs, and in the 2nd we manage a draw vs former champs of the Misty Isles.

CIBBL - Y10, Summer - Lords of the Silent Death (2/2/3)

CIBBL - Y10, Autumn - Tin Division (3/1/0) In a division torn by absent coaches Nightmares come toe-to-toe with thoriins Myrmidia, but lose the tirle due to first decider, as the internal game was a draw.



CIBBL - Y11, Spring - Subterranean Paths (1/0/0)

Caleb Sandoval Team Captain and general Terror of Cibbl and Sylvania in particular. Holder of numerous personal achivements, he is the heart and soul of the team.

Samuel Belmont (deceased) Now more a sidenote in the history of the team, he was the first clan patriarc, renovned for his iron rule, brutality and taste for ghouls. Was killed by his own fans as they tore him apart as he was pushed over the sideline in his 6th appearance.

Sophie Belmont (deceased) was the daughter of the patriarc, and his favorite.
