S38: invited to a bowl but coach Arcayn and his team got lost on the way to the stadium so it was never played.

S39: just barely missed the playoffs (*shakes fist at NCUC*) but played in the Rose Bowl vs. Kzarik's Pitt Panzers. Narrowly pulled off a 1-0 victory on the back of some lucky plays (and a failed dwarven 3+ dodge with RR for the TD that would have tied the score in regulation). Woo! Rose Bowl champs!
