Eldred Guttenbach was a reclusive crippled elemental mage living alone in the forests surrounding Nuln. Once day while perusing the winds of magic he happened to inadvertently to tap into the BBC (Blood Bowl Cabalvision) and for many months afterwards tuned into enraptured while avoiding paying his licence fee for the pleasure. Guttenbach had dreams of running a team but he wasn't rich and he had no connections. He spent much time perfecting his art so that his elementals could (a) spend weeks even months retaining their form and (b) could handle a ball without it falling through their form or burn it to a cinder. Finally after perfecting his creations, the Blazing Ignis were formed and entered into the league, Guttenbach convinced the showpieces of his team, the Fire Elementals would set the imaginations of fans aflame. |
