CHAMPIONS 145 KO CUP #68

6TH PLACE: 'THE GATHERING STORM' 145 LEAGUE

The Nuln Castle Knights- rich men and their peasants. A true 'rags to riches' story. Similar to the NRL's Newcastle Knights, but instead of Winnie Golds and VB in the team dugouts, it's Monte Cristo cigars and Remy Martin Cognac.

Over their first 10 games, the Knights amassed an unimpressive record of 2-5-3. Nuln's town crier and former Ogre Blood Bowl player, Ronald Thump, had called out to 'make Nuln great again'.

Indeed, the tides were about to turn, and after hiring a new coach- former halfling master chef Ted La'soup- the Nuln Castle Knights went on a 5 game winning streak to finish 6th overall in 'The Gathering Storm' 145 league.

With momentum behind them, the Knights charged into 'The Money Never Runs Out' 145 KO Cup. Results as follows:

ROUND 1: WON 2-1 against the Ivar Eriksson led Old World Alliance team- Old Guard of Azeroth. Dom Perignon RIP'd their catcher on turn 1, and peasant Coughsyrup fouled out Ivar on turn 2.

SEMI FINAL: WON 2-0 against the hitherto undefeated Dark Elf team, Wives of Khaine. Dom Perignon responsible for the casualty of their Witch Elf.

GRAND FINAL: WON 2-0 against fellow Nobility team, the Noble Legumes. Dom Perignon sent Morcilla, their GUARD Bodyguard, to the casualty ward in turn 1. Le Baron James escaped being ZAPPED by the wizard, and turned in his 6th touchdown for the Cup.
