Down the dirt paved road from the Hills of Ridge Briar, in which they live, stand a twin pair of oaks that the flings have so cleverly named Oak and Ridge. The trees were a perfect meeting place for the little ones until one day as they were gathered a fling got plucked up from a swaying branch and thrown back to wince it came.
Soon this became a game to the little ones as they would dare each other to be the next fling to fly through the air. Before long the flings became so accustomed to being thrown around they decided to put their skills to the test in the blood bowl arena against other flings. They have been having so much fun that they have hardly noticed a few bumps and bruises and the occasional missing companion, could have something to do with how roaring wasted the were, that they decided to name their team and join a league. This is how they became known as the OakRidge Flyers.
