From the northern parts of Old World comes the feared team often referred as The Soviets. They have won gold in nearly every annual Old World Championship tournament they have entered.

They have earned a nickname called The Red Machine, according to their style of play. It works like a machine, and the players are like machines. Relentless, flawless and calm.

With the leadership of their captain, Boris Mikhailov, they strike fear to all the teams they encounter. And their "machine of mayhem", minotaur Viktor Tihonov, is known for his VERY short temper. When he gets angry, it usually means blood, blood, and few broken bones on the field.
