Druchii Shades

The Druchii are a race long known for it's cruel beauty and the Shades are no exception. The team was developed deep in the Blackwood forrest under sacrificial rites and offerings to the Dark Gods years ago, although there is no record of exactly when the team was formed. They first appeared at the Loren Elfbowl Regionals in 2306 and were ejected from the competition after it was found they had assassinated the entire opposing team of their first quarter final match! Since then, they've been prowling the Old World circuit in search of new teams to play against.

No one really knows much about the Shades as they're something of a secretive team. Some say they're sponsored by the guild of Assassins, but that rumour has been neither denied or confirmed to date. It's most likely they have some dark and sinister purpose for their presence in the Bloodbowl leagues, but as yet, no one who has investigated this have lived to tell the tale of why they are here.

When the Shades take to the pitch you can be rest assured there will be bloodshed. The most frightening aspect of that however is that the team members seem to draw equal delight in spilling their own blood as well as that of the opposing team!
