Canstall wished he could stand up to his creater...
But the lord was too powerful.

All of Canstall's unlife he had wanted too return to the bloodbowl pitch he had cherished as a mortal, but the the greatest of gifts came with the greatest of curses. Thjis was hell, to have all the physical traits he had dreamed off, and to not be able to put them to use on the field...

"Canstall!" His thoughts interupted, Canstall looked up at his lord. "I have a use for you, I shall send you with Mordrek to the southern wastes, when you get there you will cause an uprising drawing the Templar knights south." A wry smile appeared on The lords face "and while they are there I shall strike the unprotected Northern cities..."

Making there preparations at one Canstall and Mordrek climbed into coffins which were then loaded onto the black coach, and began the journey south.

During their travels Canstall told Mordrek of his life as a bloodbowl player, before his injury, and before the there Lord, Disguised as a healer said he could heal him for a price that would remain secret until afterwards. At the time Canstall thought no price was too high to be able to walk again, now he realised the price was not just a kiss, it was everything, His life, his family, and his soul.

The younger Vamp was thrilled by the tales of triumph and had his own grudges against the beast that called himself a lord.

The days and nights passed, and the duo arrived to a village in the wastelands, where they were to begin their mission of terror.

On there first night they spied villages fumbling with a ball that Canstall recognised Instantly.... Bloodbowl.

Could it be true, that this forsaken place had a blood bowl league?, surley not, these villages were worse than awful, little better than halflings.

Then the wind carried the peasants muttering to the bloodsuckers, 24 games no wins, no touchdowns, and only 9 of us left, we have to quit.

To Canstall's suprise Mordrek jumped up, pointed to Canstall, and proclaimed, "From the North I bring you Canstall, the Champion Bloodbowl player, here to turn your fortunes around-forever. It won't be easy, but with his skill, and coaching, and dedecation we can turn this team around.

Canstall grabbed his collegue (vampires don't have friends) spun him around, "what have you done? The Lord will kill us when he finds out"

Mordrek stunned him with a cold stare, "he's 500 miles away, awaiting news of an uprising", this is our chance to be free!

Canstall weighed up his options, eternity of being little more than a slave to creature he dispised, or maybe avoiding ogres in a small field long enough to become rich, or dying while clutching a pigs bladder.

Like it or not, his only chance was turning this rabble into a team. "Alright you lot, lesson 1, blocking!"
game 1
The blocking lesson didn't work.
It was not an Ogre the ended the living hell of Canstall, but rather the horn of a Beastman. His death was a catalyst for the peasants to fall about in disarray, and the chaos team beat them 3-0.
As well as the death of there leader, Adam had his knee smashed and would be unavailable for the next week. Disheartened in the dressing room afterwards, Mordrek fell back on what he knew best...Terror! With an angry glare on hs face he stormed round the room, kicking tables and screaming in rage at the incompetance of his team mates. Out of fear the team promised to work harder, and all thought of splitting up, saftey in numbers was the only option against this killer. As the team filed out of the stadium, Mordrek grabbed one of the many beggers outside by the scruff of his neck, snarling "your with us now"
