Hoppolderim "Hopp" Keystone the dwarf wanted a bloodbowl team.
There were a couple of problems though.

First he loved his gold more than Bloodbowl. For the prices he was willing to pay he could not find any respectable players to join his team. Undaunted though he was able to recruit from a tribe of rather dim-witted and impoverished goblins. He pays them with cheap ale and food from dumpsters. Plus a bonus of whatever items the goblins not on the playing field can steal from the opposing teams and stadiums.

From the teams used, battered and polluting Green Volkswagon Van (that seats six) in which the entire team must pile into to get to games to the cardboard boxes they sleep in instead of hotel rooms the absolute minimum has been spent to keep this team going.

The only "luxury" item the team has is an Apothecary. Not because "Hopp" cares what happens to the players, but because it is cheaper to patch up old players than it is to hire and teach new ones.


The second thing he demands is that the team make money.

The only thing that "Hopp" will reluctantly spend money on is replacement players. He will do this only in the most dire of situations and with great complaining and reluctance.

Any gold the team manages to make goes directly into "Hopps" personal coffers.

It does not matter if the team wins or loses as long as "Hopp" makes money and can enjoy watching Bloodbowl while raking in the proffit.
If a few goblins get hurt because he's so cheap, what matter does it make to a dwarf?
