| Greenskin Giantz, a motley crew of bickering orcs starting playing professional blood bowl in early 2005 againt the team manager's advice. He warned them that they were used to soft amateur leagues, but did they listen... <b>Game 1:</b> Khemri, 1-0 Win. In a brutal and unforgiving game the Greenskin Giantz managed to eke a win despite permenantly losing a Black Orc and a Blitzer. Lineorc Krung was also injured, and the winnings from the game were not enough to buy any replacements. Down to eight men for their next game, the Giantz ignored their manager's advice, decided not to retire, and instead continued bravely onward. <b>Game 2:</b> Halflings 1-1 Draw. The Greenskin Giantz played their second game in the pouring rain, and were constantly under numerical pressure. They fielded only 5 players in the second half, and at one stage in the first half were reduced to a solitary Black Orc. Despite these seemingly insurmountable odds, the Giantz scored from a long pass in the rain on the last turn of the first half. It was only the 2:1 ratio of halflings to orcs in the second half that allowed the titchy ones to equalize. <b>Game 3:</b> Norse 2-1 Win. Against a full strength norse team the Giantz kicked off, and managed to turn over position. Bash Ironjaw, star blitzer, rushed almost the entire length of the field to score. The Giantz capitalised on a Blitz result on the kick-off, and went into half-time 2-0 up. Poor play and mounting injuries in the second half saw them concede a TD on the last turn. <b>Game 4:</b> Wood Elf 2-1 Win. The Giantz played a depleted Wood Elf team, and grinded out an unimaginative victory through numerical superiority. Krak Greenfist, star black orc, scored both touchdowns. <b>Game 5:</b> Khemri 2-0 Win. Eager to get back on the horse as soon as possible, the Giantz played their fifth game against another Khemri team, and won convincingly. Although the Giantz were outnumbered most of the game, and the Khemri team was putting the boot in all over the place, the Giants went all the way without any long-term injuries. <b>Game 6:</b> Dwarf 2-1 Win. <b>Game 7:</b> Orc 2-0 Win. |
