Glufbags Grabbers
P [L] Orc

<table width=800><tr><td>Glufbag is an orc with ideas above his station. Tired of the humdrum life of wholesale slaughter he and his fellow tribe were causing in the outlands, Glufbag wanted something more.<br>
One day as he was absent-mindedly picking his teeth with a rib of his latest slaughter, he noticed a parchement in the pocket of the halfling he had just killed (and was using as a cocktail stick).
Staring blankly at the scroll for several minutes he handed it to someone who could read, in this case a Halfling who had been clever enough to lock himself in a cage before the rest of Glufbags tribe could either kill him or eat him. The Halfling, who we shall call Munch, cowered in the cage as he read the scroll to Glufbag.

"I, It's a ticket," Munch said through tears and sniffles, "a ticket for a Blood Bowl game."

"Blood Bowl? What's dat?" Glufbag enquired as politely as he could. The large serrated knife he was holding only added to the politeness.

"It's a game. Every race known in the Old World plays it" replied the cowering Halfling, "It's a bit too violent for my tastes but lots of my brothers enjoy it. Some even play it, lots of money in that game too."

"Fightin? An dey pays us for it?" enquired Glufbag, again as nice as he could and as polite as the knife would allow, "Where dey do dat den?"

"Well, this ticket is for the Edorta Greenbowl in Helmgart" Munch said, seeing a possible way way out of his predicament, "I could take you there, I know the way."

"P'raps. Helmgart is Umies land, in't it?" Glufbag prodded, both physically and mentally.

"Well, yes. The Helmgart Boars are a Human team. They're playing an Orc team though, Da Deff Skwadd, it says" Munch said as he rubbed his newly prodded rib, "They're a very good team so I hear, quite popular. So, you want me to take you there?"

Glufbags turned his attention to a huge Black Orc waving his hand in the air like an anxious schoolboy waiting to answer a question.

"Wut?!" Glufbag snapped.

The Black Orc got up and walked over to Glufbags side, grinning at his fellow orcs as if he had just won a prize. He bent down and whispered in Glufbags ear.

"Well den little fling, looks like we don need you after all," Glufbag said with a grin, "Big Qog knows the way dere, sez 'is bruva is on the coaching team. A masoo.. massu... a mass oose or sumfink."

Glufbag grinned and bent apart the bars of Munchs cage.
"We's gonna use you for da practis ball"

Glufbag eventually made it to Helmgart, not in time to see Da Deff Skwadd play however. They had too much fun with Munch. They arrived days later to see the game. The Boars weren't playing at home that day but the young academy players were using the pitch for training.
Seeing this as a perfect opportunity, Glufbag decided to crash the Helmgart apprentices party and play a game.
