In ancient times, the Norsemen from Thorbardin held massive competitions involving skill and brute strength to determine who would be Odin's Champion and wear the sacred armor into upcoming battles. Traditionally, there were hundreds of competitors that would compete for the honor and many brave heroes died during the event. Several years ago, as Blood Bowl raged across the world's nations, the Jarl from Thorbardin created a Blood Bowl team, and the champions from the various events would be honored by joining the team. Naturally, this meant only the most skilled warriors would take to the field, and the Thorbardin Hammers take to the Blood Bowl pitch fully acquainted with the terrors that await them. Yet, they enter the battle without fear to seek fame and the glory of Valhalla in thier quest to become champions. |
