Loðinn af the Rotinn was the Old World's first Blood Bowl club and is the oldest still-existing club to now play Blood Bowl, having been founded in 2357.

It is often said to have been founded in 2355, although there is no evidence of this. The team was originally based on various grounds in Rotinn, including Klungur Stígur, now home of Rotinn Samlyndur. Loðinn af the Rotinn participate in the oldest local Blood Bowl derby in the Old World (known as the 'Rotinn' or 'Regla' derby) against arch-rivals Forstofa.
