The Hardcore Hobgoblins are an elite brotherhood of immoral monks. Having satisfied their twisted sense of pleasure capturing and torturing monsters, they got bored (not to mention quite tired of having to hunt down highly unwilling victims) and decided to form a Blood Bowl team.

The HH's favorite torture victims are allowed to play alongside their proud (but smaller) masters.
