<font face="Arial Black" color="#FF0000" size="3">History:</font>
The Black Bay Buccaneers were originally a rather uneven group of rogue corsairs, drunken crossbowmen and failed wizards hanging around the harbour of Naggrond. Playing in small alleys to pass time, the Bucs quickly became known as the most spectacular street bowl team in Naggrond. Once word got around to the admirals in Naggrond the Bucs were invited to play a game against high elf slaves on one of the mighty Black Arks. The Buccaneers won the game with ease and the following year watching Buccaneers games became the favorite recreational activity among the Black Ark officers.
After playing into semi-fame on the Black Arks, the young team was picked up by the heirs to the failed <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=375758">Black Sea Buccaneers</a> franchise and named Black Bay Buccaneers in a tribute to late B.S.B. owner Ezekiel Steelgrip (killed by Lorettha "Cold Lips" Malakhai, current owner, GM and head coach of the <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=384934">North Tower Nighthawks</a>.

These days the Bucs have grown into an impressive franchise of their own and have now got a customized Black Ark, complete with training facilities and home field, to call home. It is said that critics point towards seasickness amongst the opposing players as a cheap trick for the Bucs (and a reason why the Bucs rarely play norse teams) but when trying to verify this criticism the actual critics can never be found...
<font face="Arial Black" color="#FF0000" size="3">Buccaneers in the media:</font>
It's pretty safe to say that dark elves don't really cheer for anyone but themselves - and pure evil. But when they are not actually on the field in person they get a long by sarcastically applauding fellow dark elves and thus Cabal 5's beautiful sideline reporter, Kaithelisse (to see picture press button), will at times reveal a crooked grin when the Bucs win the game (though this picture might have been taken after discussing the Bucs' stats against wood elves).
