<div align = "left">Eight games in and the Asrai Ascendants look to be progressing well. With a 4/2/2 record, they have to be close to one of coach Nestyr's best teams to date. <i>[Edit: this has more recently become 5/4/2, which still makes them one of the Nestyr's best teams to date - sad, isn't it... :-)]</i>

They have come quite a way from a rookie team of 2 'dancers and 9 lineman, to a fairly solid team, despite some bad luck and loss of one Wardancer early on. The players have skilling up nicely, with one bright star, and several understudies in the wings.

The recent inclusion of the Treeman, Ulgo, to their ranks is dubious, based on his first game, <i>[Edit: after three poor performances in three games, where Ulgo was either helplessly rooted to the spot or face down in the dirt, Nestyr decided a Treeman was not the way to go, and retired him to an assistant coach. As a result, there are an unusual number of Line-Elves with Block on the team, as the Treeman has not much else to offer them in terms of training.]</i>
