No changes to FF. 2nd: Despite being down to 6 players in first half we managed to keep rotters from scoring. Controlled the game on second half and scored a last turn winning TD. Rotters were pretty unlucky where it mattered. Thrower saved by apo. FF increase. 3rd: A very close game agains chaos dvarves. Managed to stop their drive on 2nd half and score on last turn. No serious injuries or KIA again. FF increase. A hobgoblin was slain. 4th: Just horrible. We tried to overblock the elves who were everywhere, snatching the ball and making td´s at will. One miss next game for a lineman. One line-elf slain. No changes to FF. Gottfried Meyers was aquired as back-up thrower (as my throwers seem to be pretty unlucky). 5th: An another loss. Couldn´t get blocking going. Damn hard Norse! FF went down. First catcher bought. A pitch invasion once again. 6th: Third loss in a row. First half was hard because of pouring rain. Forgot how fast skaven are. Again a very bloodless match. 7th: We gotta end this losing streak. This is getting embarrassing. Killed a line-elf but that was it. 8th: Finally some light at the end of a tunnel. A draw vs. Khemri. Our newly aquired catcher got killed. 9th: Another draw, this time vs. skaven. We got a good start by taking out (KIA and SI) two gutter runners. Scored on 1st half but couldn´t keep them from doing the same. Stopped their drive on 2nd half but were unable to score. No losses on players or FF. 10th: Loss. Something is wrong with our offence. Good defence mostly but lost the ball on first half offence and gave the orcs an easy TD. Killed a troll but he regenerated. 11th: Back on winning-track. Some good luck with defence on first half. Controlled the ball on second, made TD and kept the khemri from scoring. Nice work everyone. 12th: A very exciting match. Great defence on both sides. Turnovers on 1st and 2nd half for TD´s. One bestman was killed. 13th: Damn orcs. Strong offence and solid defence - we had no chance. 14th: After a couple of decent games we´re losing again - and against anything. 15th: No luck there either. Pawn badly hurt himself in a midless block on 3rd turn. A catcher and a thrower were killed. One blitzer ma drop on injury. One lineman niggled on first skill throw. This couldn´t have been any worse. |
