The Gar Finvolds franchise came about as an accident when their Viking longboat raided a small orc village and was mistaken by the local Blood Bowl team as a visiting side. Sadly, not only did the raid fail, but they lost the match 3-0 and their captain as well. Too embarassed to return home empty handed, they joined the tour in an attempt to eke out a living.
