Despite their name, the Children of the Moot are, in fact, HUMAN children from Averland. The boys, all from the same village near the Moot, would play touch-blood bowl every day, and were spoted by Halfling Coach Grubs Famblebrumpton. Grubs took the boys and trained them in the ways of Halfling bloodbowl, hoping that their human backgrounds would give them an edge (and that the potions he aquired would keep the boys small). Adding a punch to the team in the form of a treeman (who only ever says "Me the tallerest"), Grubs took his team on tour to prove to the Old World why he was the best coach ever to emerge from the Moot, if not the world!!
