The Council of Thirteen are determined to keep the Skaven's identity hidden from the world of Humans. However a band from Clan Rictus has emerged into the light to go rampant on the Blood Bowl field. What will the world make of these hairy fellows? By the start of October 2011 we had half a million credits in the bank. Time to consider trying a Rat Ogre again.. But as my 4 GRs were developing, and I considered putting them into the FUMBBL cup, one GR was taken out in a dodge and also Skeetz suffered a drop in armour from a foul against Duke Tyrion's Norse. Nevertheless the GRs developed again and money grew.. In the FUMMBL Cup X we were drawn against an Undead side, Death Valley Daze. Due to their fame we brought in two star players. Throt Lobbit was cruelly butchered and raised as a zombie, but despite that and other casualties Skeetz led us to a 3-2 win in overtime. After that we went down 3-2 in the next round. Skeetz scored twice but was shockingly killed after some failed gfis by Skratz left him exposed. Another two linerats followed him to the grave. Then the following 2 games in the box that followed we lost more experienced players, including 64 game Hugruck Zulbash. So the side was butchered! Could they recover?? Well next our other experienced Stormvermin was retired plus a linerat killed, in addition to apo saving a thrower. Unbelievable sequence. After all the experienced players being taken out the steady rebuild is underway. We eventually gave way to the dubious idea of trying a Rat Ogre again but with just 3 GRs.. Well Throatrippers performances so far hadn't been too impressive at all but finally in a win against a Nurgle All Stars team he woke up with 2 cas including a rip and then followed by badly hurting 2 Dwarfs and gouging a skinks eye to help us to a rare (for us) 3 win run. The team and particularly GRs looked good with the some strong threats on defence. A display of failed running and dodging followed against WMDs (plus great chaos catches) as we suffered a narrow defeat. That was followed with Zloos4's death against clawpombers and then Throatrippers due to a crazed Wolf, and next game Skratz 3rd from a piling on Wight, plus Hugruck and a thrower! Both wrestler GRs gone so close to being stars. Disaster always comes to the Raiders when they look dangerous. Yet again we must rebuild.. The rebuild didn't get going for a while but new players are starting to emerge. GRs aren't lasting long but the wild Headcrusher and the Stormvermin are looking strong. Alas after getting to star and superstar the 2 blitzers were wiped out too. The wheel turns and the Raiders can't seem to make greatness. After losing our superstar blitzer we went a record 13 matches without a win! Our remaining fans keep demanding the retirement of the double Jugs Rogre Headcrusher. We cut him, lost another match, and then finally scraped a win!
