The Z-Men were a breakaway faction from the worship of Nuffle. They taught that Nuffle was not a jealous god, and that there were games other than Blood Bowl that could be enjoyed by all. They perhaps might have found more converts had they chosen to preach their message somewhere other than outside of a Blood Bowl stadium. As it was, the local fans decided that one game was enough, and beat the Z-Men to death with paraphernalia borrowed from the home team.

As a result of this, there was a significant amount of consternation when the Z-Men showed up again, very dead but still preaching. It is not known by what power or under whose geis they are acting, but they have apparently decided to work on getting converts from within the system - by defeating and killing their opponents on the other side of the pitch!
