The Great Highlanders from the capital of the North, Winterhill have been around since the dawn of Blood Bowl and in fact was one of Blood Bowls founding members.

The Great Highlanders are considered to be the most impressive and successful team of all the Northern Peaks and were an unbelievably gifted group of individuals until the death of their coach Sir Walter Bowl. After Sir Walters death many of the players vanished from the game while others faded out in lower league teams.

Winterhill plundered without the glory of The Great Highlanders and lost its status as Capitol. But now Sir Walters Great Grandson (Robert Bowl) has formed his own team to bring back the former glory Winterhill had and with the help of his teammates reinstate it as the Capitol of the North.

Using Sir Walters millions to build a brand new stadium (Winter Bowl) and bring a team together he will now embark on a great adventure to turn his Blood Bowl rejects into champions.
