A very tight game where the Conspiracies ran into some bad luck.
In the end, Nessie pulled out a miraculous blitz/defensive block/blitz
to wrest free the ball from amongst five opponents and then score on H2T8!

Game 1 vs. Salish Stabbies: 2 - 1
The Conspiracies take advantage of a newly formed Dark Elf team.
A well placed foul on Hubris Rakarth and the attrition of casualties wins the day.

Fringe Division West
Record: 3 - 1 - 1

Game 5 vs. Craftsmen: 2 - 0
A convincing but costly win as both Skull & Bones and Princess Diana's Car Wreck are killed.
A confusing pre-match sequence as the dorfs brought a halfling master chef to the match!
Big Foot's 2 TDs shows his continued improvement.

Game 4 vs. Greene Bayou Pacters: 1 - 0
The CC copy the game plan from their season 26 win over the Pacters.
Nessie is reprimanded by the coach for failing to score a second TD.
Nessie replied, "I was so mesmerized by the beat down I didn't watch the clock!"

Game 3 vs. Ordo Inquisidorfs: 1 - 1
A quick first half score by Big Foot is backed up with good defense.
A major mistake by New World Order when his failed dodge allows the Dorfs to tie the game!

Game 2 vs. Parted Sea Plagues: 1 - 2
A good start sees CC score on defense when the Plagues cannot handle the kick-off.
The Conspiracies cannot pick up the ball in 10 attempts and give up 2 TDs in the second half!


Game 1 vs. NWL Iron Curtain: 2 - 0
Blessed by the grace of Nuffle, CC dominates the match. (19spp vs 9spp)
The Catalyst and Big Foot both skill, while Nessie posts another 7spp (TD,Cas).

Veteran Division

Final Record: 2 - 1 - 4

Season Summary: Lack of development, bad coaching, and a crappy effort (Nuffled dice) lead to a poor record.
As a result, the team is demoted to the Fringe!
(Meanwhile, there is an investigation into allegations that the league planned to keep the team from succeeding.)

Game 7 vs. Mirkwood Lumberjacks: 1 - 1
The Conspiracies had a chance to tie at end of 1st half but blew it.
Nobbla was a total failure and yet earned the MVP! (Little bastard!)

Game 6 vs. Greene Bayou Pacters: 2 - 0
The Pacters out casualty the Conpiracies but are unable to stop Nessie and Big Foot.

Game 5 vs. Northern Waste Hydras: 1 - 2
A well played match by both sides.

Game 4 vs. Modern Family Redux: 0 - 2
While the Conspiracies fight valiantly (cas 3-3), they are unable to stop MFR.
Illuminati becomes the first death in team history.
Big Foot, Sasquatch's replacement, makes his inaugural appearance

Game 3 vs. Last of the Renshai: 1 - 0
First win of the season is a hard fought affair.
In his return, Sasquatch smashes his knee (N) and immediately thereafter retires.

Game 2 vs. Death from Above!!!: 0 - 3
Nothing works for the Conspiracies. Even the Wizzy fails miserably.

Game 1 vs. Dead as a Dark Elf: 0 - 2
A rematch from Season 25, which ended in a 1-1 tie.
This time the Conspiracies were unable to handle the group of dodgy Elves.
Sasquatch smashes his ankle. (-MA)

Final Record: 3 - 2 - 2

Tied for 2nd place!

Season Summary: The Conspiracies performed above expectations and survived their first season with minimal damage. Season 26 holds high expectations, but of course, if they don't do well, then it was because of the man!

Game 7 vs. NWL Iron Curtain: 2 - 1
The boys return to form and close out the season with a winning record!

Game 6 vs. Waste Not, Want Rot: 0 - 2
Just an ugly loss.

Game 5 vs. UnderSky: 2 - 0
Win the casualty battle 6-1 and dominate the game!

Game 4 vs. Ordo Inquisidorfs: 1 - 1
A Chaos Dwarf mirror match between equal teams results in a tie.

Game 3 vs. Dead as a Dark Elf: 1 - 1
The Conspiracies out casualty the elves 5 to 1, but only pull out a tie.

Game 2 vs. Elves in Luck: 1 - 2
A close loss versus a superior opponent. (1010 v. 1540)
Nessie scores again but misses next match with pinched nerve.

The Conspiracies get a win in their inaugural match!
