With their sights set on glory they took to the field, leaping and sprinting their way to a loss at the hands of a vicious band of Halflings. Their first comrade to fall was a victim of the spoons of the [Soup Troupe]; the first of many eccentric elves that would perish on the pitch. It's worth mentioning that the Halflings didn't much enjoy their soup after the match, as [Flatulent Fred] tasted worse than he smelled.

From this low point they began on their tumultuous journey upwards; some elves becoming distinguished, while most were simply extinguished.

Eventually a couple of the infamous Treemen that give the Clobberwood its name plodded onto the team. They didn't last long, both [Woodsworth] and [Woodington] falling victim to the perils of the game. With the threat of becoming firewood made clear, it is highly unlikely that any more Treemen will dare venture beyond the ends of the Clobberwood.

Hearing new of a 'Grotty Little Tourney' they jumped at their chance, racing to play the second game of the tournament! Alas, 'twas not to be. Taking to the field either too drunk, or not drunk enough (it's still unclear which) they were steamrolled by [Death is Forever]. Following the game their lust for glory diminished, and three of the original stars departed the squad for the comforts of home.

In the game that followed the last super-star of the team, [Anthony Patch] had his long career ended when some bone-headed skeletons who thought winning didn't seem much fun opted to repeatedly kick him in the head instead. The apothecary was nowhere to be found, having already accidentally murdered a linesman who had a chipped tooth, and the team lost another good elf.

As it now stands only two of that queer band that first emerged from the forest remain in the team; their ambitions having grown, fertilised by the (rather adequate) mulch their buddies became.

Timothy Trethewick
After a long service he left the team he helped to found after being cleared off the pitch in embarrassing fashion in the opening moments of the GLT debacle.

The Leaping Wrasslers: Jonesy Jones and Lenny Langholm
Founding members both, this duo of acrobatic galoots left the squad together after Jonesy was injured assaulting a team single handed at the end of the farc that was their GLT foray.

Anthony Patch
A super-star of a catcher, he survived the GLT expedition, but fell prey to the relentless boots of some moronic skeletons in the following game.

Jumping John
A cunning Wardancer who stole many a ball, John met his end at the boots of the dirty Woodelves of Godswood after he bravely wrestled the ball away from Chief Joseph.

Slappy Salvatore
A dangerous Wardancer who fell to the Undead Boot!

James Jameson and Howard Vileshaft
