HALL OF FAME Harm Grudgebearer - Inaugural member of the Old Skool Invitational Hall of Fame. Holder of two winner's medals from his first and only OSI season. Elevated after injuring 10 players in his first 11 games, and memorably scoring from an intercepted pass. BIOGRAPHY The Karaz-a-Karak Ironbreakers and Longbeards Athletic Association Blood Bowl Football Club was formed from soldiers barracked at the Dwarf capital by Ironbreaker Captain Rivitt in a quest to bring glory to his regiment, the Third Underhill Quarrellers, at the city’s annual Beard of Blood tournament. His plan was simple: using military training they would marshal a platoon of well-drilled Longbeards to easy victory. The ball, being of lesser importance than capturing and dominating the field through grinding tactical play, would be given to a young beardling to hold. Being something of a blood bowl novice despite his years, Rivitt was not familiar with the “Deathroller” that confronted his team at the start of their first match. He asked the beardling to investigate and report back. After the match, as Rivitt looked again at the red, hairy smear of armour and pigskin where his ball carrier had stood, he realised his mistake. The team were discharged and exiled in disgrace from Karaz-a-Karak and so set about restoring their honour on the blood bowl field. Having been joined, unasked, by a pair of Trollslayers, they signed up for the first league they could find: the Old Skool Invitational TTT. Their re-christening as Kazak Ironbeards FC was the fault of a snotling administrator, now mysteriously vanished, who pretended to mishear the name of the team because he couldn’t be bothered to write it out properly.
