Buccaneers All Star Team Created in honor of BillBrasky's 10K match on the sight. The Buccaneers get the honor of taking on the WMD in the box All Star team in this titanic match up. Props go out to Brasky and his awesome accomplishment. Also to Christer for allowing the Buccaneers to form up their All-Star team of greats and take on those CPOMB abominations. Ogre and Blitzers Krikack: The Avatar of Destruction. Humanities most punishing, brutal and low down Ogre of all time. Brought back from the lands of the dead in Khemri with a Kickstarter Fan Favorite scroll. He is a living legend for the Buc's and is still knocking heads on the grid iron. Bo 'Knows Blood Bowl' Jackson. Buccaneers most punishing Blitzer of all time. This guy would lay you out in a heart beat and then just for fun lay down the Pile On. His legacy lives on after the Spiro Level Conspiracy takes him out in a awesome display of dice power. He founded Bo LLC which has franchises all over the old world to pump out that +ST for all Blood Bowlers. H 'My Body is an Army' Walker: Humanities top SPP of All Time. Came up just shy of 600 SPP. Walker could cary the entire team on his shoulders and will them to victory. Walkers legacy besides his SPP and pure awesome ability was that he was RIP 7 times and the Apoth allways saved him...#8 was his undoing when he was laid out by an evil CPOMB player. That niggle he carried for over 100 games finally caught up to him as that KO was turned into a CAS. A 'the Force' Peterson was Walkers wing man for over 100 games. They formed a titanic one two punch that rolled over the opposition. He lived in the shadow of Walker but his legacy as one of the Bucs top Blitzers of all time can not be denied. But alas his carrer was cut down shortly after the fall of Walker as he became the focus of the opponeets mean and nasty blitz moves. Taken down by a Skaven CPOMB abomination. B'Clothes Line' James: Buccaneers undisputed Greatest Blitzer of All Time. Not because of his stat line or his totall SPP. But because he was their most inspirtational leader, fearless, determined and lead from the LOS. James never backs down, ever! Guiding the Bucs down field for another score from the front lines. A selfless leader who let others get the glory as he worked over the LOS and got the job done. Killed in the most glorious fashion in the GLT as the closing turns wound down he attempted a -2BD block with dodge out with 2GFI to get into the endzone for the game winner. But alas as he blocked out and dodged away there were to many TZ for him and he was viciously taken down on a failed dodge out. But he went out in HERO MODE!!!!!! But he also has one more claim to Greatness. In the Buccaneers VS Hellfish match when the Buccaneers became the #1 most games played for Humanity. He laid out a -2BD block on the Hellfishes Ogre of lesser reknown and laid him out for the RIP!!!! the Specs laid down the /shock and /cheer for allmost 4 minutes. Catchers and Throwers T 'Game Breaker' Owens: The Buccaneers back field general for over 100 games. He would break games open with his blinding speed and agility. Busting through the LOS to dish out the ball. Owens greates claim to fame was that he has a built in skill reroll for every action. Dodge, GFI, Pick up the Ball, Catch and Pass. He was versatile and dynamic back field Catcher. Carrer was cut short when he was mauled and had his arm ripped off by the Angry Newscasters. It was a sad end to a steallar catcher. J 'Big Catch' Rice was the Buccaneers first Catcher to ever to reach Super Star level. He was a dominating force under LRB4. Agile and once again a leader from the backfield. Bucs could always count on him to make the big play and get the key Touch Down when the game was on the line. He fell victim to the Buccaneers only concession, ever. He walked off the team in disgust in their youth thinking this was going to be a common occurance. But he left a lasting impression on the Buccaneers. NEVER, EVER, CONCEED A MATCH. D 'Interception' Bledsoe was hands down the Buccaneers greatest Thrower of all time. Long Bombs and dump off passes drove the Bucs opponeets nutz. Guiding the team down field he was an unstopable force and he almost guaranteed a TD every time he got his hands on the rock. LCII though was his darkest day as the Bucs found themselves in the maindraw and on T5 of the second half of the opening match he double 1 the pick up in traffic. But he went hero mode in T6 to save the day but alas once again he rolled the double 1 and the Bucs went down in defeat. It took him many months to over come the grief and pain of that day. But he bounced back and guided the Bucs to many deep runs in the majors. But as with all legends his days were cut short. In a ho hum affair on some god forsaken pitch he takes the 1BD blitz move and crumbles to the ground and the RIP bin. T' Ladies Man' Romo was a fan favorite of the female Buc fans. He was responsible for Bucs game day jerseys to sore. Albeit most of those game day jerseys were pink with a womens v cut collar. On the field though he was a inspirational leader for the Bucs and guided them down the field with his speed. Always trailing the play and making the right calls to set up another Touch Down. They said he has safe throw but his carrer ended with 5 INTS. so I dont know how safe his throws actually were. One of the few Buc greats that did not find his death on the pitch. Instead he got got caught up in the Buccaneers big Rebuild #8 and coach had to let him go. After he left the locker room there were only 5 Buccaneers left standing wearing jock straps and a look of shock on their faces. Taken down by a good ole fashion CRP TV cut. Linemen L 'Helm Crusher' Allen is the Buccaneers freak lino. He weighs in at 327 LBS and he was designated as a line fodder DP player. Then all of sudden this guy started to show some moves. Then he mutated into a agile and speedy demon. Now he is the Buccaneers back field sweeper and ball hawk. He is the first Buccaneer Super Star lino that might actually have a legit shot at Legend. He is still an acive player on the team. A 'Butt Kicker' Henderson is the Buccaneers top fouller. He is a fiend when it comes to laying the boot and can always find a weak knee joint or hunt down that N injury. He is not averse to mixing it up on the LOS and his kicking skills are top notch. One day coach came in and Henderson was just slumped in the corner. His perm damage took a serious toll on Henderson and coach finally let him "walk" to teach future Bucs in the way of the Boot. He is still the Bucs assitant coach on laying the leather to this day. A 'Head Basher' Geroude is another one of the legendary foullers for the Buccaneers. As his carrer took off he develped into a multi use lino. Very agile and was really good at "reading" those passes to jump in front of them. But just like his mentor Henderson the perm damage reached critical mass and coach felt like he needed to be sent out to pasture. Geroude is also on the Buccaneers staff to this day teaching those linos all the dirty tricks in the trenches and getting their feet moving always looking for the +AG upgrade. T 'Bumbler' Romo was taken in by Geroude and shown the inside moves neccesary to become an elite lino. He shedded that Bumbler nick fast as Romo developed into the Bucs back field hawk and strip ball specialist. Romo turned many games with his +AG strip move that allowed the Bucs to get that coveted defensive Turn Over for a TD. Romo was taken out when he went Hero mode and dodged into a horde of orcs looking for the strip. After the strip he was left dangling in the middle of the greenskin horde, taken down and killed the ole fashion way....DP boot to the head. V 'Line Fodder' Young transfered onto the Bucs with a checkered past. Originally he was going to be a LOS chump but then the fire was stoked in his belly. He became a frenzy berserker out on the pitch. Always leading the charge and blowing up pixels with his blitz move to make that hole in the defense. But as time wore on he starting take perm damage left and right. And then that was when Young's true colors came out. He just faded away and mentally checked out on the Bucs. Coach had enough of his mental midget and finally gave him the pink slip. But for a period of time Young was a force and the fans went nutz once he got moving downhill. K 'Wildman' Kosar was a huge fan favorite of the Buccaneers. Now he is the least gifted in terms of SPP on the Buc All Stars but a line up with out him would have the fans enraged. Kosar was a wildman from the north and he would don his direwolf mane before each match. No armor for this muscle bound north man. The ladies would swoon the men would get jealous. But no matter what Kosar would wade into the scrumm with the ferocity of a dire wolf and the strength of an Ogre. You knew Kosar was in the thick of it when the dust would form up around the LOS and bodies of the Bucs opponeets would come flying out. The fans would go nutz and the blood would flow. But alas one day on a Sigmar forgotten pitch on the edge of the know world Kosar waded into his last dust storm of destruction. When the dust settled he laid on the pitch with his rib cage crushed in and blood ozzing from his mouth. The Bucs salute you Kosar!!!! Our norscan brother from across the sea. M 'Legalize Mary Jane' Stepnowski is know on the field for his agile leaping ways. Always in ball hawk mode he would swoop in and strip the ball right out of the cage. Bucs would pounce on the loose ball and off they go. The Buccaneers have been searching for years to replace Stepnowksi but his unique skill set is hard to find in a lowly lino but the Bucs keep searching. Off the field Stepnowski was the leader of a rebel group in Altdorf attempting to legalize a certain contraband know has Mary Jane. To this day he is still hailed as a hero for the lovers of Mary Jane in the capital. Sometimes when the local watch busts up a den of Mary lovers a pitcture of him can be found hanging on the wall. One of the few Buccaneers to make a serious name for himself on and off the field. Stepknowski was cut down on a low down DP shot. Totally uncalled for and the Bucs opponeet was just trying to inflict as much pain and suffering as possible. I can tell you that DP RIP shot still haunts coaches dreams to this day. ************************************* |
