Longbeard Family

Background

Mr. and Mrs. Longbeard have at last been able to fullfill their dream to start an all family Blood Bowl team. After several years of playing in the snow on their backyard, they now enter the Blackbox of Blood Bowl with big plans and hopes.

They will keep the habits from their mountain cabin. Mrs. Longbeard will stand on home ground telling everyone what to do. Mr. Longbeard however, will run around fighting fires or trying to open opportunities for his sons and wife.

Milestones

Hergar often tells the story about the best game so far against a skaven team. It was the 32nd game and Nuffle blessed the family. In the yellow light of the cabin fire he keps coming back to the bloody details about the seven CAS that they caused on those puny rats. Those nights often end up late and give the sons a good laugh and a reason to drink one more bear.

The family remembers the cursed 33rd game vs an evil chaos team with sorrow and anger. Mrs. Longbeard was killed and the team as a whole suffered eight CAS in that game. In the dressing room the family runesmith, Mordred, managed to bring his mother back to life. She did however forget all her skills in the process.

A poor human team was smashed in the team's 39th game. Scoring 2-0, five CAS and several KOs. Mrs. Longbeard was pleased to say the least. In her joy she recalled how to Block from the time before the deadish accident.

Rules

The family will always consist of Mrs. Longbeard the Runner, Mr. Longbeard the Blitzer and their nine sons the Blockers. No journeymen will ever be hired and the Longbeards will never use the family doctor on one of them. It may happen that more sons will see the light of the day. Who knows.
